Fort Wayne's evening daily newspaper, the News Sentinel, ran a full-page story about the club, ham radio and ARRL Field Day on Saturday, June 26. The story was on the front page of the newspaper's "Neighbors" (features) section. See the online version of the story.

FWRC's Field Day operation also received mentions in the weekend events listings of both the News Sentinel and Fort Wayne's morning daily, the Journal Gazette. The Journal Gazette enhanced its listing with a file photo from a previous Field Day.
